Building Your Off-Campus Resource
Website Hosting and Management
We know your schedule is busy, so our onboarding process is minimal! With our varied suite of tools, College Pads will work with you to determine which of our features best serves your off-campus community. IT implementations are typically done in less than two weeks and if you choose to, we can add extra security on some of our features through SSO (single sign-on) that prompts students, staff, and faculty to login using their University credentials. From there we’ll work with your marketing and brand teams to feature any resources you’d like to include and make sure the site matches your university’s branding.
Building Out Features
Every institution is different, what one campus may want and need can differ from another so we work with our University Partners to provide a platform that meets their own specific campus and community needs.
Renter's Education
The Renter Education modules allows students to watch a series of short videos teaching them what they need to know about being a first-time or new renter to help create smarter, more prepared student renters. Videos topics range from what to look for on a lease, what to consider when moving and how to keep a security deposit.
Housing Finder
Providing the most housing options in the market, College Pads does the work on adding new and existing property owners and managers. We ensure they are who they say they are, eliminating the risk of scams for your students. Filter properties for undergrads, graduates, faculty, and staff housing, and by lease length, pricing, amenities, accessibility and even see how close of a walk it is to campus!
Sublet + Roommate
Portals
Create a profile through secured sign-in (SSO) by using your University credentials to login through the portal, ensuring that each user is a student at your University. Students are able to post ads and message other students at their University seeking roommates, sublets, and post rooms for rent.
University-Owned Properties
In addition to all the off-campus listings, several of our partners also choose to include their on-campus properties on-site to give students an alternative that includes the benefits of university-owned housing. Many students choose to inquire with Residence Life as a result of these listings, who would otherwise live off-campus in the absence of this resource while also helping the University fill beds!

College Pads helps landlords attract students to their properties by offering a targeted, in depth marketing approach that hits college students everywhere they go and offers a seamless integration of their existing data from Entrata, Yardi and Appfolio into our platform.

Each of our University partners will have a dedicated team to work with to ensure that student, faculty, and staff are aware and gaining the most out of the platform. From digital campaigns, email campaigns and using social media platforms, we heavily market these platforms while keeping the workload off of your team.
